Character Personality: At first glance, Flora Reinhold seems very shy and curious. She even tends to ramble on and on when she meets new people sometimes, and with others she simply stammers or runs off. But once you get to know her, she shows off her more kind and thoughtful side, and really would like the best in everyone, most of the time.
Flora would have everyone believe she is a 'perfect lady', but she lacks many qualities needed to actually be seen as one. For one thing, she's easily upset by quite a few things, and at times she can even be rude when she wants to be, even to the point of emphasizing things heavily (it even shows up as caps in Unwound Future: "It just goes to show you that when someone makes you food, you don't just RUN OFF ON THEM!"). She can also get very very stubborn when it comes to people being concerned for her safety, getting quite upset when she gets left behind by the Professor and Luke, even after her constant assurance that she would be fine. She's also very sheltered, and on top of that naive, so she doesn't understand everything, but she feels traveling with the Professor and Luke help her learn more things as they go on adventures. (When she's not being captured or left behind.)
Flora is definitely not afraid to express her emotions and always speaks her mind, but it's not always a good thing - it can turn into her telling someone off, or complaining about something. However, she also isn't afraid to express her gratitude or offer help to someone who needs it. This can even offset her usual rambling when she meets a stranger if they say something particularly offputting. This is also what tends to get people annoyed with her more often than not; it always seems to almost get her into trouble.
One of Flora's biggest traits is her independece, which also serves as a giant double-edged sword. She can live by herself and take care of herself just fine, but at the same time, she fears abandonment due to having lived in a city full of robots without her biological parents alive. It didn't help that she lost her biological mother at a very early age, and when her father built a robot that looked exactly like her to try and serve as the new 'mother', it only traumatized Flora further. This is why she hates not being around the Professor and Luke when they go on adventures, and it depresses her when she's left alone while they go out and do things. She does try to still take care of herself while doing that, however. She'd just rather be around people she likes, and not strangers.
